The Picayo Triplets

Lucas F. Picayo

Lucas is currently the smallest, but he is also the oldest. He has a great personality that instantly attracts other to him. According to those who have been mesmerized by him, its something in his eyes. I guess its the very direct way he stares at you as if he is trying to tell you something. He is also very curious. He enjoys observing the the world around him, including his hands and toes. He has always had a beautiful smile that just lights up his whole face and consequently melts your heart in the process, but recently he has learned to laugh. As you can imagine there is nothing cuter in this whole world than a baby laughing. I would love to catch it on film but its hard. Nicknames: Lukie baby, Lulu, The Banshee, and sometimes froggy.

Isabel E. Picayo

Isabel is our baby girl. She is sweet and dainty so very ladylike, just kidding. Isabel makes us laugh on a daily basis. She makes the funniest faces/poses. Every since she was born she has loved to play with her tongue. Its always sticking out i'm surprised there aren't more pictures of it. She also cracks us up when we go to change her diaper, because thats when she really decides to put on a show. she'll stretch and put her arms behind her head as if to say "yep this is the life, change my poopie diaper minion." Oh, and don't get your hands too close to her mouth or you will see what big gums she has, she wants to gnaw on everything that gets too close Even though she is our class clown don't assume she is not a smart cookie. She beat the boys at holding her hands together, though i think it was her way of getting them both in her mouth at the same time. Like all my babies she has such a sweet smile and her full on laugh cracks me up; she laughs with her whole body. Nicknames: Izzy Bo Bizzy, Bo Bizzy, Isa, Izzy Baby and of course Baby Girl

Sebastian C. Picayo

Sebastian is the youngest of the bunch, but probably only because they had to make enough room for such a large baby. Of the three I think Sebastian is probably the most engaging. He loves a good laugh, loves being held and really enjoys talking to anyone who is holding him and if you happen to have a bottle for him, then you are automatically his best friend. My mom has a funny story that shows how much he likes to be held. She came over one night to help out. I was holding Isabel, Pablo was parking the car, Lucas was in his bouncer crying and Sebastian was sitting next to him in his bouncer. When my mom came in she went to pick up Lucas, well Sebastian was truly offended. He let out what could only be described as a war cry, which was enough to stop Lucas mid-cry and make sure that abuela cuddled him first. Aside from being a cuddle monster he has the BEST laugh. His eyes get all squinty and he gets a chubby dimple under his eye and then he laughs, stops, looks at you, laughs again and stops until you can't help but burst out laughing. He's tends to do this when you are trying to get him to sleep, which makes me think he's trying to distract me from my mission... You win this round Simpson! Nicknames: Sebie, Sebie Baby, Mr. Whinny, and Booboo Face (His sad face is really, really good)
